When a politician claims to be pro-life or pro-choice, are they doing anything else outside of rallying their party's base? Will they actually have the power to change or prevent change on Roe v Wade? Should our President's select Supreme Court Justices based on what their stance on abortion is? What do you think?

I think it matters because it shows you have the same values and morals as the person you are electing, which I believe is important.

It depends if they are the ones who get a girl in the family way, would like to see what the views would be then.

Abortion won't change, because you can't selecte a supreme court judge based on their abortion stance.

Abortion won't change, because you can't selecte a supreme court judge based on their abortion stance. I think people elect people who reflect their stance on abortion as more on principle than anything else. And there are specific regulations a state can impose on abortion.
